The tight circle is everything that feeds onto Germantown Avenue between Lehigh and Allegheny. Fairhill is the closest, five minutes east, and most of those cars come off the blocks around 5th Street. Cheltenham, Elkins Park and Jenkintown all sit north over the city line off Old York Road, twenty to thirty minutes depending on how Cheltenham Avenue is moving. Camden is across the Ben Franklin Bridge — short in miles, slow in traffic.
